Breath-work & Movement Medicine
Each time we hold a thought, we hold our breath. Rather than “I think therefore I am,” perhaps “I breathe, therefore I receive. Breath awareness is the doorway into a meditative state, a meditation practice becomes a major source of stability.
“Our awakening depends on a shift in perception from identifying our self as the chattering mind to realizing that we are actually pure awareness- the awareness that witnesses the continual changes occurring in the mind and body. As this shift occurs, our brain function is redirected to fertilize the neural connections necessary to experience life through new eyes. Challenge yourselves to begin with a one minute meditation. Before you begin the one minute meditation, take a moment to close your eyes. Breathe and notice that each time you think, you tend to hold your breath. As you become aware that your thoughts stop your breath, your awareness will automatically restart your natural breathing cycle. As you begin to breathe again, you reestablish your natural state of flow. You are either thinking or breathing. Thinking feeds the mind and starves the body. Breathing clams the mind, inspires and feeds life into the body. “ Liberman PhD
Each time you notice a thought or some inner dialogue, allow that awareness to automatically bring you back to your breath.

What is Rebirthing Breathwork?by Leonard Orr
Rebirthing-Breathwork, aka Intuitive Energy Breathing or Conscious Energy Breathing, is the ability to breathe Energy as well as air. It is the art of learning to breathe from the Breath Itself. Rebirthing is perhaps the most valuable self-healing ability that humans can learn. We can not have disease and relaxation in the same space at the same time. Relaxation is the ultimate healer. Every breath induces relaxation. Therefore, breathing is the basic healer. Conscious Energy Breathing is the most natural healing ability of all. This ability involves merging the inhale with the exhale in a gentle relaxed rhythm in an intuitive way that floods the body with Divine Energy.
Rebirthing also means to unravel the birth-death cycle and to incorporate the body and mind into the conscious Life of the Eternal Spirit – to become a conscious expression of the Eternal Spirit. This involves healing the eight biggies of human trauma, which are the birth trauma, the parental disapproval syndrome, specific negatives, the unconscious death urge, karma from past lives, the religion trauma, the school trauma, and senility, etc.

Hatha Yoga
Hatha is a Sanskrit word that can be broken down into two smaller words: ha, meaning “sun,” and tha, meaning “moon.” The word may also mean “willful” or "forceful.”
In yoga, Hatha yoga is one of many types of yoga practice. The practice of Hatha yoga focuses on total mastery of the physical body, including all bodily functions. It also emphasizes activating the chakras in order to stimulate kundalini and promote spiritual and physical wellness, including disease elimination.
Iyengar
Iyengar yoga is a type of Hatha yoga and was developed by B.K.S. Iyengar. Based on the eight limbs of yoga as described in Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras, it emphasizes the precise physical alignment of the body within particular postures.
Iyengar yoga is a disciplined system with carefully planned and timed sequences. Often, props, such as blocks and belts, are used to ensure students can practice the postures with correct alignment and safely develop their yoga practice over time.
Kundalini
Kundalini yoga is also called the "yoga of awareness." Originally known as Laya yoga, the practice was brought to the West in 1969 by Yogi Bajan, the founder of 3HO (Happy, Healthy, Holy Organization).
The primary aim of Kundalini yoga is to awaken the kundalini energy, which lies coiled, serpent-like, at the base of the spine. In Kundalini yoga, practitioners use breathing exercises, physical postures, chanting and meditation to unlock this energy.
Raja Yoga
Raja yoga is one of the four classical schools of yoga alongside Jnana (knowledge or self-study), Bhakti (devotion) and Karma (action), each offering a path to moksha (spiritual liberation) and self-realization.
Also known as "the royal path" or "classical eight-limbed yoga," is a holistic health system that creates balance within the yogi's whole being: mind, body and spirit.
Joseph Pilates
Joseph believed that physical and mental health went hand in hand, which is why the Pilates method is both a physical and mental workout. His method focuses on correct alignment, control, breathing, flowing movement, and concentration. His precise movements focus on technique and control over repetition. Pilates believed that the core was the “powerhouse” of the body; thus, there is a focus on the core in every Pilates class. The core encompasses everything from your Transverse Abdominus to your back muscles to your Pelvic Floor.
Pilates classes also build overall body strength, flexibility, and create lean muscle tone. The emphasis is on lengthening the body versus bulking and shortening the body. Through practicing Pilates you can expect overall slimming, increased flexibility, and improved mobility. You may also find that you become more in tune with your body. In terms of mental benefits, you may feel less stressed and more focused. Due to its low-impact nature, Pilates is for everyone across all walks of life. In addition, you can modify exercises to suit your practice. Because of this, it’s difficult to plateau in your practice. Pilates is truly a lifelong fitness regimen.

Aerial Yoga
Instead of performing yoga poses on a mat, aerial yoga utilizes a silk hammock or sling that is suspended from the ceiling to perform those same movements. The purpose of the hammock is to provide support through your yoga flow, while also improving flexibility and range of motion. The hammock also takes pressure off certain areas of the body like the head and shoulders, allowing you to reach those more challenging poses like headstands with greater ease.
Yoga classes in hammocks develop deep and body-stabilizing muscles, more efficiently than in other forms of fitness and yoga practice. After training, pronounced effects of deep relaxation and stress relief.
